WATER FALL HOUSE

CLINT AND BACKGROUND:

Very learnedperson Golam Moula Rony well known personality of YouTube. His speech andcollum very popular and tv personality. He was also an ex-member of parliament.He wrote on article on top businessman of the country and very influentialperson in politics and his party, probably playing a big game on share bazar.So, he became victim for his article and had to stay few months in jail. Afterthat he resigned from that party.

He was my clientfor another project Bashundhara. Unexpectedly he got a land at Aruna Polli fromhis close relative with very cheap price. HE approached me for a design of ahouse there. Second house for his weekend days in quite peaceful nature.

The siteopposite of Jahangirnagar University. Vacant plot all around with trees andbushes except north side a multistoried building opposite of the road. End ofthe road Beautiful Masjid of Aruna Palli.

Concept:

Designing threedifferent type of design first type conventional one with split punch in livingarea with 3-bed and other functions second alternative split type functionssurrounding the stair. Functions and space created with its different floor onlanding.

Last one was differentunusual new concept. waterfall usually falls from heigh land to low levelmainly in lobby area in open space not normally in confined space. In thisconcept waterfall falling inside the space and all other functions and spacesin different level surrounding the waterfall.

WATERFALL:

waterfall in thenucleus of this house, it began from the roof top and descended to ground floor.Its journey start from zero volume and volume increase according to its journeydownward and ended in ground floor in a big hall room covered with glass fromfloor to ceiling all around. Most of the area in ground floor occupied by hallroom for sitting and dining except service area like kitchen, store, staffaccommodation and porch for 2 car parking.

Dubble heightaround waterfall, upper floor connected with the ground floor with stairs andvisual connection with void around waterfall and with other space, Temperedglass provided from floor to ceiling around the building except north side. Thefront side /road side. NO structure up to the day in east west and north sidebeautiful trees, bushes with birds, floor open to sky with privacy is in the rare.From Hall room enter south-side green lawn and east side place for deer’s withconnected outside water fall falling from 32’-0” height. East side at Hall roomspace for different type of non-flying birds. All outside space connected withveranda with Hall space.

With circularstair covered throughout with glass goes up to 2^nd floor and roof level.In first floor family room facing water fall connected all the bed room. Masterbed with sunken study room with Veranda and other two bed room with attachedtoilet and veranda.

Clints desired aspace which will be dedicated from other space with full privacy for his mentalconcentration for his study and writing and also for Salat and meditationpurposes. So, one room on roof for study cum bed room provided with toilet andveranda.

In open roof insteadof swimming pool jacuzzi provided with jet warm water for physical fitness and relaxation.So, avoiding any shelter on jacuzzi.

SOUND OF WATER:

Sound of water can be heard and enjoyed from near the spaces and part of the building.

In night whenwater descend from waterfall upper level to lower level, with under water lightit will look like milky way galaxy in night sky.
