Christian Welfare community NGO. They have land more of less100 Acre in Sreepur hilly area. Site was combination of small tilla and flatland and low land.

For us living in plain land the site was Exciting. Directionof ICDDR Mr. Susanto Adikari was in chair at that NGO. One of his men fromEurope reached my fathers house of Gulshan at Road 124. One of his men fromEurope reached my fathers house of Gulshan at road – 124, For signing the contractagreement of rent, I met Susanto Adikari at his office in Mirpur 10. Knowingthat my profession is architecture he became interested and asked about my workat Dhaka. From his window I pointed to Mirpur Cricket stadium as one of myprojects.

Then he offered me to take this project, basically fortraining and conference purpose.

At that time conference facilities in Dhaka city were verylimited. Especially big conference. Priority of that project was giving theproper conference facilities with workshop and training. Site was long distancefrom Dhaka so who will participate the conference lake to stay here at night.Guest accommodation facility should be provided with other recreationfacilities. Separate room required for resort area with other requiredfacilities.

Entry zone for surface car parking. Center zone forconference, learning, workshop, lecture hall room, classes, library, meetingroom with open air theater. Separate zone for the accommodation of trainers.Accommodation of staff & teachers.

ZONE A: Conference, Training &Administration

Long way form Dhaka city good accommodation for car parkingneeded near the entrance of the project. Facilities for the outsiders near theentrance of the project. Both way beneficial, Easy entry and Exit for the guestalso not disturbing the other area. Conference facilities blended with natural lake,Hills, artificial waterfall with open air theater.

Different type of conference, meeting and trainingfacilities provided with a central auditorium.

Also, accommodation, Administration block with foodfacilities.

ZONE B: Resort & Recreation Facilities

Due to distance from Dhaka city guest may like to stay oneor two nights in the complex. Also, their or other family member may like tostay for relief from crowded congested Dhaka city. They want to stay some timein nature with games, boating and other recreational activities. In main highrise resort building, Guest can enjoy different type of game in lavish swimmingpool also they can enjoy outside game Badminton, Tennis, Basketball, Squash,Indoor game like bawling ally, Snookers, Billiard, Video games. Health relatedfacilities jacuzzi, steam bath, Sona, Gymnasium, Yoga etc. with beauty parlorand other facilities.

Single cottage Dubble cottage along with the createdartificial lake enjoying privacy and beauty of lake. 2 pieces of deck providedfor enjoyment of boat riding.

ZONE C: Accommodation

Separate zone bypassing zone -A, zone- B. Dormitory fortrainers with other facilities like food, Games, Dispensary with recreationfacilities with separate Lake and hills.  

ZONE D: Teachers and Staff Accommodation

Teachers and staff accommodation of different type withtheir own area own water bodies own hill common service, pump house, sub-station,Emergency generator control water supply with medical facilities.

Landscape & Amusement

Unique landscape with interesting colors, up and low landwith trees make it beautiful. Low land converted into lake and water bodies.Soil of digging of lake high land converted into hill look mainly periphery ofland to provide as a boundary wall.

Artificial waterfall created nearly from the center of theproject with lighting system for dramatic effect no night adjacent to the open-air theater.

Recreation space (Spa) and water bodies provided throughoutthe site for guest with boat ride.

Zoo on a sloping hill-hock, aviary with a beautiful garden. Boat ride with training facilities above the hill-hocks children’s playground with sliding water games.

In the main high-rise resort building, guests can enjoy different types of games in the lavish swimming pool, and they can also enjoy outside games like badminton, tennis, basketball, and squash and indoor games like bowling, snooker, billiards, and video games. Health-related facilities include a jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna, gymnasium, yoga, etc., with a beauty parlor and other facilities.

Single cottage The double cottage, along with the created artificial lake, enjoys the privacy and beauty of the lake. 2 pieces of deck are provided for the enjoyment of boat riding.
